The Forward Steps Guardian Scholarship Application priority deadline is approaching May 31, 2025.

If you know a young person who is currently in foster care or who has lived experience in the foster care system, and they are pursuing postsecondary opportunities in Colorado, please share our application with them. Guardian Scholars supports current or former foster youth with:
• $1,000 baseline scholarship directly disbursed to the scholar
• Up to $2,000.00 in additional financial support for urgent funding needs, housing, and childcare needs dependent on funding and on a case-by-case basis.
• Career, internship, and job search support with a professional Career Coach
• Individualized professional, academic, and personal mentorship support with a professional mentor.
• Tutoring and postsecondary navigation support
• Community building workshops focused on self-care, budget management, and time management strategies.
• Wraparound resource navigation support
